This is a Manager, Clinical Education & Training role Nationwide. The Manager, Clinical Education and Training is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical programs, training curriculum and resources to provide technical/clinical support and service for VentureMed Group (VMG) products to both internal personnel and external Health Care Professionals (HCP’s). The Director is also responsible for overall clinical field program direction, planning and staff development.

What You’ll Do

As an Manager, Clinical Education & Training, you will:

  • Develop, implement and maintain clinical educational programs, training curriculum and resources that thoroughly prepare VMG sales staff for clinical discussions, case support and troubleshooting in the field. Also, to use this content for other internal training of new VMG non-sales employees.

  • Monitor and evaluate Sales personnel clinical competency in field HCP interactions.

  • Develop and coordinate professional training programs, courses and resources for HCP’s that can be delivered by sales staff, as well as independent events/content executed through the Marketing,

  • R&D and Clinical teams. Provide ongoing evaluation on educational efforts to promote continuous improvement and clinical excellence.

  • Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with physicians and other clinical HCP’s to become a competent and reliable resource on device use and product related issues experienced in the field.

  • Develop and oversee clinical site training and technical support for clinical studies and registries.

  • Provide ongoing remote and on-site technical support for product usage and study compliance.

  • Partner with Clinical Operations on site management, study implementation and documentation as requested.

  • Provide input on strategic decisions that impact internal and external training and education.

  • Seek effective methods, tools and content to ensure the delivery of relevant, high quality clinical education.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on commercial efforts as requested,specifically those that include customer education and training.

  • Provide Management with reports and updates for Board and Management meetings as requested.

  • Develop and manage Training and Education annual budget.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with proven track record in training program development, execution and ongoing evaluation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design and evaluation methodologies.

  • Experience in Operating Room conduct, hospital procedures, medical device usage and trouble shooting.

  • Experience in recruiting, developing and managing a field clinical service organization. 

  • High IQ, EQ, integrity, character, and trustworthiness; demonstrated evidence of leadership, creativity, flexibility, determination and perseverance.

  • A willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time is necessary.

  • A college degree in related disciplines is preferred.

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including group facilitation

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills

  • Effective managerial and leadership skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication with physicians and office personnel/staff •

  • Strong medical background with effective teaching processes

  • Good computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, internet).

Compensation: 

  • Base Salary / Variable / OTE: Base Salary (flexible for the right candidate) + 10% annual bonus
