Injury Prevention and Ergonomics Analyst *Hybrid*

Under the direction of the IP&E Manager, the IP&E Specialist manages programs for injury prevention, reduction and promotion of health at a regional level. The position will provide project management to new and existing programs in cooperation with the IP&E Manager to decrease caregiver harm through engineering, administrative, and work practice controls.

Required qualifications:

  • Within 2 years of hire Certification in ergonomics or safe patient handling
  • 3 years of work experience related to ergonomics, injury prevention and safety or healthcare setting (i.e. RN, PT, OT, exercise physiologist).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field (RN, OT, PT, ATC, industrial hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Kinesiology).
  • Coursework/Training and Ergonomic related training (i.e. CPE, CEAS, CIE, CAE, CHSEP, Human Factors Engineering, & SPHM).
  • Coursework/Training and Project Management related training (i.e. Lean, Continuous Improvement).
  • Upon hire: Physical Therapist License (LPT)
  • Upon hire: Occupational Therapist License (OT)
  • Upon hire: Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • 2 years of work experience related to project management.
  • 1 year of work experience related to caregiver injury prevention or workers' compensation.
  • 1 year f Acute health care experience.
