Division: Individual Medical

Location: Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Richmond, VA; Knoxville, TN; Nashville, TN; Cincinnati, OH; Tampa, FL; Birmingham, AL; or other location TBD

Type: Full-Time; May require occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends; Travel is required

Hiring Range: Total Compensation Range is $55,000 - $70,000 annually with earning potential of $100K+ after successful validation

Commitment: Three-Year Commitment to The Cason Group

Our Sales Representatives are responsible for sales activities in assigned geographic areas including direct personal contact with independent insurance agents and brokers, insurance consultants, financial advisors, and insurance carriers and are charged with cultivating relationships that will positively further our mission.

What Our Individual Medical Sales Representatives Do:

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: establish and maintain appropriate agent and broker relationships in order to meet revenue growth goals; identify and secure the appropriate carrier and market relationships in order to facilitate growth and sustainability of revenue; locate prospects and make sales presentations to potential client agents and brokers; build relationships and work in conjunction with internal operations staff, understanding the teamοΏ½s value proposition and operational responsibilities; proactively identify and resolve agent/broker concerns and problems
  • Drive Results: assist agents/brokers by determining the best carrier and coverage alternatives; communicate new product information and provide training for agents/brokers; evaluate agent/broker effectiveness to determine marketing priorities and where to focus efforts; work closely with and direct assigned marketing assistant to optimize client services; prepare and present relevant reports
  • Stay Current in Industry: successfully obtain relevant Insurance licensures and other professional certifications; engage with professional organizations

What We Are Looking For:

  • BachelorοΏ½s Degree and/or equivalent of success in insurance sales/marketing
  • Valid state driverοΏ½s license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to positively influence others
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective sales presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while managing and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Teams); knowledge of databases
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image
