Responsibilities
- Collaborates with executive sponsors/champions, process owners and improvement teams to identify projects that will reduce errors, defects, and “never” events to improve patient safety and quality of care
- Leads and manages end-to-end project life-cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, project scope, timelines, and budget.
- Analyzes current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement and implements sustainable best practices to optimize workflows.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute process improvement strategies.
- Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and change management efforts.
- Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report on outcomes.
- Drives a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching, training, and resources to team members.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout improvement projects.
- Leads stakeholder communication efforts
- Maintains project documentation, including status reports and tracking of performance metrics.
- Collaborates within an integrated Quality, Patient Safety, and Accreditation team.
- Perform all other related job duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or healthcare-related field required
Experience:
3 years of related experience in formal project management and experience leading process improvement in a healthcare setting.
