It’s no secret that healthcare in today’s world requires lots of digital documentation. At Franciscan our Informatics Tech is responsible for providing front line customer support to facilitate adoption, support quality of care, and increase efficiency with providers and staff related to Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role will assist with onboarding new providers and staff onto EHR. They serve as a liaison between practices and Information Services Applications teams, to better understand the technical and clinical requirements for the HER, and improve EHR efficiencies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Provides support in the use of the clinical documentation system for clinical staff. Provides support to administrative staff regarding the use of the electronic health record (EHR), work ques management, reports and workflows.
Coordinates with management, technology support departments, and others to implement, monitor, and execute completion for various projects and meet operational needs timely and in a cost-effective manner.
Partners with applications team regarding changes, updates, configuration changes and needs.
Triages system issues escalates to appropriate IS teams for resolution.
Assists with the optimization and education to staff regarding changes in the clinical documentation system and/or electronic health record to support enhanced workflow efficiency, quality of care, and user satisfaction.
Provides workflow analysis and support to identify opportunities for optimization
Assist with managing and inventory of EHR devices, clinician and office phones, security alert systems, air cards, and connectivity support.
Fosters organizational culture that supports the strategic and operational goals of the organization
Prioritize data collection activities base on the immediate or anticipated needs of the situation
Synthesizes available data, information, and workflow knowledge relevant to the situation to identify patterns and variances, and formulate recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED- Required
Associate's Degree-Healthcare, Informatics, Information Technology- Preferred
3 Years- Epic Use or Support- Preferred
2 Years- Home Health- Preferred
Auto Insurance- Required
Driver's License- Required
