Healthcare Support Specialist – Patient Accounts & Service Coordination



Overview
Telurvision Solutions partners with healthcare providers and service networks that require accurate, confidential, and patient-focused support. This opportunity may be open to qualified applicants in multiple regions, as our client base includes both U.S. and international accounts. We are seeking Healthcare Support Specialists to manage patient account inquiries, appointment scheduling, and service coordination while following strict privacy and compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle patient or client inquiries related to account balances, billing statements, and insurance verification

  • Schedule, reschedule, or confirm appointments in accordance with provider requirements

  • Provide clear and accurate information about services, processes, or next steps

  • Document all interactions in the designated healthcare management system with precision and confidentiality

  • Follow HIPAA and client-specific compliance protocols at all times

  • Escalate urgent or sensitive cases through approved channels



Requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach

  • Familiarity with patient account systems, EHR (Electronic Health Records), or medical billing platforms

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Discretion in handling sensitive information and medical records

  • Stable work environment with secure internet connection

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in a healthcare support, medical billing, or scheduling role

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes

  • Experience working with diverse patient populations

Equipment Requirements
To perform this role effectively, you must have:

  • A reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer, or macOS equivalent) capable of running multiple applications simultaneously

  • A stable, high-speed internet connection with consistent upload/download performance suitable for voice, video, and system access

  • A USB or wired headset with a noise-canceling microphone

  • A quiet, dedicated work environment free from background noise during scheduled work hours

  • A second monitor or dual-screen setup (recommended for certain assignments)
