As a key leader on the team, you’ll have the opportunity to have a direct hand in crafting the next advancements in Apple’s health software ecosystem. We work on the Health app—a platform for Health and Fitness efforts across Apple—as well as related features and experiences that broaden the definition of what our platform can do. You will work with experienced engineers, designers, and medical experts to architect features that delight users as well as form a solid technical foundation for future development. In this position, you will need to be self-directed, creative, and comfortable with change and ambiguity. Excellent engineering, collaboration, and leadership skills are all essential.
- Minimum of five years of experience working in Software Quality Assurance required.
- Minimum of two years recent experience working as a Software Quality Assurance lead or manager required.
- Experience in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) development with exposure to regulatory and quality systems, including design controls, risk management, and verification/validation activities.
- Experience writing production-ready automated UI and non-UI tests in Swift or Python required.
- Proven track record of driving effective cross-functional decision making and alignment.
- Experience testing, iterating, and shipping high quality applications, working collaboratively with developer and project management teams throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop and maintain automated test suites for validating Health-related applications, monitoring CI performance, test result analysis, as well as test triage and reporting.
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
