Primary Responsibilities
We are currently searching for a part-time position in the Department of Allied Health’s Master of Science in Health Science program. The program is offered completely online and designed with a transdisciplinary focus. The program is also an interdisciplinary program designed to provide those involved in health care the opportunity to earn a master’s degree with a focus in management, education, or informatics depending on their career goals. NKU has a strong commitment to transdisciplinary education and has recently opened the Health Innovations Center in the 2018. The center will provide the opportunity for the Department of Allied Health to play a significant role in academic innovation as well as impact the health of the region.
Qualifications
A master’s degree with five years work experience in health care management is the minimum requirement for this position. A doctoral degree and experience in health care education or research is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching online courses using CANVAS for students from a variety of disciplines at the graduate level. Qualifications and credentials that meet the needs of the curriculum for the Master of Health Science Program will be a primary consideration. Deadline for Application The formal review of applications will commence on October 12, 2018, and the position will remain open until filled. The position will begin in January of 2019.
