Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and client-centered Health and Wellbeing Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide individuals toward achieving sustainable lifestyle changes in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, and overall well-being. This role involves working one-on-one to empower clients to set and meet personalized health and wellbeing goals through evidence-based coaching techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ readiness for change, and health and wellness goals.
• Co-develop personalised, client-driven health and wellbeing goals focused on sustainable behavior change.
• Use motivational interviewing, goal setting, and accountability techniques to support clients’ progress.
• Deliver individual coaching sessions in-person and/or virtually.
• Maintain accurate documentation of coaching sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with the organization’s requirements. 
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (such as healthcare and allied health providers) when applicable.
• Participate in the development and facilitation of wellbeing workshops and events.

Requirements

Required:

• Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach—certified by Wellcoaches, and/or NBHWC, and/or UKIHCA (UK & International Health Coaching Association), or eligible.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in health coaching or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, curious and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple clients effectively.
• Ability to apply behavior-change theory and coaching psychology principles as required for certification.

Preferred:

• Background in nutrition, exercise science, nursing, psychology, or public health.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with data privacy standards.
