Health Coach, Lubbock

As a Health Coach you will be responsible for guiding a self-discovery process which entails (but is not limited to): assessing wellness then readiness to change and confidence of a client, coaching to that level of readiness and confidence, and co-creating a wellness vision including SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely) goals while helping to identify potential or existing obstacles and developing strategies to overcome those obstacles.  Will be required to conduct blood draws and interpret results.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

  • This posting includes multiple openings of a Health Coach position
  • Shifts Available are:
    • Full Time, Day
    • Per Diem On-Call, Day
  • This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:
    • Texas: Lubbock
  • Availability to work weekends as needed, based upon departmental scheduling requirements
  • Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise, Sport Science, Kinesiology, or another related field of study

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Within 90 days of hire date: Phlebotomy Certification
  • Internship, volunteer, or work experience in wellness-related field
