Position Overview
To lead and develop Bioiatriki’s medical sales organization, driving strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective market coverage, and achieving commercial and strategic growth objectives across all regions.
The role reports to the Senior Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team of Medical Sales Team Leaders and Representatives.
- Set clear performance objectives, KPIs, and development goals aligned with the Company strategy.
- Ensure continuous training and coaching for medical representatives to strengthen product knowledge and engagement skills.
- Define and implement the route-to-market strategy for Bioiatriki’s medical sales organization, ensuring efficient coverage of key specialties and physician segments (e.g., general practitioners, internists, gynecologists, cardiologists).
- Prioritize medical specialties and regions based on market potential, patient flow, and diagnostic service relevance.
- Optimize resource allocation, territory design, and visit frequency to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Excellence to ensure aligned targeting, messaging, and promotional priorities.
- Design and implement the medical sales strategy across geographies and medical specialties.
- Drive market penetration and growth of Bioiatriki’s services among physicians, clinics, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Commercial Excellence teams to align field activities with business priorities.
- Translate corporate objectives into actionable sales plans and measurable outcomes.
- Serve as the key liaison for the medical community, ensuring strong and trust-based relationships with physicians nationwide.
- Monitor and analyze field performance metrics, visit effectiveness, and physician satisfaction.
- Implement data-driven decision-making to optimize territory coverage and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field. A master’s degree (MBA/MSc) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in medical sales, preferably within diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare services.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare and diagnostics ecosystem and physician engagement dynamics.
- Proven track record of leading field teams and achieving commercial growth.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent organizational and team management skills are essential.
