About the Role:
The Group Fitness Trainer is responsible for leading energizing, low-impact workouts rooted in functional fitness. Trainers should be committed to delivering top-tier class experiences while creating an inclusive and motivating environment for every member.
Responsibilities:
Class Instruction & Experience
Teach 6–8 hours of functional fitness classes weekly
Complete a 100-hour immersive training program prior to leading classes
Tailor classes to the needs of all levels, offering both modifications and challenges
Greet members pre-class, support them post-class, and guide them on frequency, packages, and programs
Community & Culture
Help foster a welcoming, body-positive studio atmosphere
Engage with clients and support their fitness journeys beyond the workout
Represent the brand through events, social media, and outreach efforts
Safety & Execution
Ensure proper form and technique for all movements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout space
Stay up to date on best practices through trainer meetings and continuing education
Qualifications:
2+ years of group fitness teaching experience
High-energy presence and excellent communication skills
Deep understanding of safe movement, anatomy, and alignment
Certified through an accredited organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, AFAA, etc.)
CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
