TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the Waterloo, ON area. 

Here's the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together 

The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for promoting and delivering fitness and wellness programming to employees in a corporate location, which includes teaching a variety of group exercise classes, monitoring the wellness facility, and organizing onsite wellness events. 

Here’s how

• Supervision of a wellness facility space
• Instructing and scheduling of fitness classes and monitoring participation 
• Monitoring facility usage to provide guidance and ensure safety of members 
• Providing fitness and wellness programming and events
• Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly statistics
• Oversee contract fitness instructors & allied health professionals if required

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

• Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health Promotion
• Current certifications in Group Fitness and CPR/First Aid/AED 
• Personal Training certification is preferred
• Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset
• Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
• Works well as part of a team
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Strong organization and time management skills 
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
