Family Healthcare Support Worker
Various locations across Victoria – current availabilities in the following Council areas; Casey, Dandenong, Glen Eira, Kingston, Monash, Knox, Yarra Ranges, Brimbank, Melton, Wyndham, Hume, Whittlesea and Hobsons Bay.
About the RCH’s Family Healthcare Support Team
The Family Healthcare Support team is an evolving service working with the Complex Care Hub to coordinate the out-of-hospital support for eligible families. The team provide support to children with complex medical needs in their home environment or other appropriate settings. Care is delivered independently, often in the absence of parents in line with the child's specific care plan. This care plan is developed in collaboration with the family, their medical specialists, and other members of the RCH team.

Infection, Prevention and Control Compliance
It is a requirement of RCH employment that you be vaccinated against Influenza annually for Category A and B roles, in compliance with any public health orders in place at the relevant time, unless you have a medical exception in line with those public health orders, which has been accepted by The Royal Children’s Hospital. Applicants will be required to provide their Australian Government Immunisation History Statement, as it is a requirement of the RCH to collect, record and hold vaccination information. It is also a requirement of your employment that you comply with any direction given by The Royal Children’s Hospital that you be vaccinated against, or prove immunity to, any other disease, unless you have a relevant exemption, and offers of employment are conditional on successful completion of background checks including reference checks.
