Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, hydrology, environmental science, public health or related field.
OR
Associate’s degree from an accredited college in chemistry, biology, hydrology, environmental science, or related field and two (2) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver’s license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.
Desirable Qualifications:
Under general supervision, analyzes and evaluates environmental public health data and trends and maintains healthy homes website information and dashboards. Assists with environmental public health projects and community outreach. Provides consultation and technical assistance to the public and partner organizations on environmental public health topics including water quality and healthy homes. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.
