Job Description
The Director of Store Operations – Process Improvement is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing labor efficiency, and enabling seamless omnichannel execution across all store formats. This role will lead and manage all retail operations personnel, providing strategic direction and oversight to drive process improvement initiatives, integrate innovative technologies, and align cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, and elevate the customer experience. This team member is highly strategic, data-driven, and skilled at translating operational insights into impactful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all retail operations staff, providing strategic direction and ensuring collaboration toward company goals, including training, communications, analytics, and merchandisingSkills and Knowledge
Expertise in managing and measuring work through KPIs, dashboards, and feedback loops, Innovation management skills with the ability to assess, pilot, and scale new tools and ideas, Proven ability to build effective teams and foster cross-functional collaboration, Strategic agility with the ability to connect operational decisions to long-term business objectives, Strong process management skills with a focus on simplification and workflow optimizationQualifications
Qualifications: Minimum 5-7 years of retail store operations experience, including store communication, process development, and store supply management; minimum 5 years of leadership experience; minimum 3-5 years of proven multi-unit labor management experience; Bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience; knowledge of Legion Scheduling or similar workforce management software
Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment; ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., samples, office supplies, or small equipment)
Travel Requirements: Travel required as needed for store visits, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives
