The Role:
The Director of Healthcare Services will need to model and engage the organization’s values of service, excellence, relationship, teamwork, and stewardship in shaping the clinical healthcare services across the community. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Leading and managing a 12-bed skilled nursing unit, while influencing the entire continuum of care.
- Balancing hands-on clinical and resident care with essential administrative duties.
- Recruiting, hiring, and mentoring staff to build a strong, cohesive team.
- Overseeing employee health services, including TB screenings, physicals, and drug screens.
- Managing and improving the quality of care, adhering to SC Department of Public Health regulations, and maintaining certification/licensure standards.
- Collaborating with the Director of Residential Services on resident care, staffing, and staff development.
- Supervising the Clinical Support Coordinator.
- Serving as the designated Director of Nursing for the community.
What You Bring as a Director of Healthcare Services:
- Licensed as an RN in South Carolina
- CPR Certification
- 3 years of clinical supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (PointClickCare is a plus).
- Experience working in senior living / long-term care setting.
