Diabetes Educator

Provides one-on-one and group teaching of dietary management to patients referred by physicians and practitioners. Actively participates in the development and instruction of nutritional classes for the Education Department.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Foods and Nutrition
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferably in journalism, advertising, public relations, marketing or communications. Or equivalent education/experience.
• National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.
• 3 years Counseling patients in a clinical environment.
• Group and one-on-one teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• CDE upon hire.
• 1 year Experience in an outpatient setting.
