The Data & Quality Improvement Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to assess the effectiveness and quality of programs and services. This role supports evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and accountability by navigating, organizing and interpreting internal and external data for business insights. The Data & Quality Improvement Manager will work closely with clinical, IT, Compliance, and program teams to ensure data-driven practices are embedded across the organization.


Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with IT and EHR vendors to optimize data infrastructure and workflow integration.

· Manages the collection, cleaning, and storage of client and program data from internal and external sources.

· Partner with O&E Director to develop tools for presenting business insights to organization internal and external stakeholders.

· Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate treatment outcomes, client progress, program effectiveness, and organizational performance.

· Ensure data quality and integrity across all reporting systems and platforms.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.  

· Identify trends and areas for improvement based on the data analysis.  

· Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to quality improvement 

· Partner with clinical, case management, and administrative staff to foster a culture of data-informed practice.

· Prepare internal and external reports for leadership, funders, and regulatory bodies, including outcome dashboards, grant reporting, and ad hoc data requests.

· Monitor program compliance with evidence-based standards and track progress toward strategic and contractual goals.



Requirements


· Bachelor’s degree in public health, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or a related field required, masters preferred.

· Minimum of three to five years of experience in data analysis, program evaluation, or quality improvement, preferably in a behavioral health or SUD treatment setting.

· Experience with outcome measurement tools relevant to substance use treatment (e.g., ASAM, GPRA, DSM-5 criteria, etc.) is highly desirable.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

· Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and data extraction techniques preferred.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required and experience with other data analysis tools preferred. 

· High level of cultural humility and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations affected by substance use disorders.

The base pay range for this role will be considered based on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.
