BASIC FUNCTION:
Developing a strong culture of customer service is vital to the success of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). The Administrative Coordinator, Health Sciences participates in all fundraising activities while providing necessary administrative support to the Development team supporting four schools and colleges, including: College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy, and School of Nursing.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Health Sciences, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for all administrative aspects of development activities on behalf of the University’s Health Sciences and serves to facilitate the fundraising success of core Individual Giving team members by monitoring fundraising activities, managing internal university communications and handling administrative tasks.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This role ensures the timely and accurate processing of gift proposals, acknowledgments, invoices, travel records and correspondences. To inform leadership decision-making, the role creates monthly fundraising reports and other database reports as needed while continually maintaining, updating, and correcting database records on behalf of gift officers.
On behalf of Individual Giving team members, the role serves as a trusted resource to development colleagues and will conduct preliminary research on prospective donors. Core responsibilities include calendar management, managing staff travel and expense reporting, assisting with scheduling and assembling donor kits for campus visits, special events and meetings.
