Job Description
This position oversees the clinical placement of nursing students, provides support for the graduate nursing programs, and assists in new program development.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or another health-related field. Experience working in an academic setting at the secondary level or college level using student information systems and databases. Experience working in a school or college of nursing and/or a healthcare facility/hospital. Ability to negotiate favorably and collegially with competitive parties for limited resources, as demonstrated by past/present work experience. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, and external clinical organizations and companies, as demonstrated by past/present work experience. Experience matching nursing students with clinical experiences that meet course objectives. Experience monitoring timely compliance of licensure and immunization requirements of nursing students and faculty.
