Under the direction of an ECE Manager, the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Specialist will support high quality instructional leadership practices in both home-bases programs and early childhood centers, serving children across a range of ages as well as programs. The CQI Specialist will work with members of the extended leadership team and the ECE partner staffing agency to strengthen high quality early childhood education by providing on-site, job-embedded professional development and technical assistance to Center Directors and classroom staff. The CQI Specialist plays a key role in building organizational capacity at the center and classroom level to think deeply about critical issues and implement strengths-based, innovative solutions that meet the needs of enrolled children and families using an equity and trauma-informed lens.
Salary:
The full range for this position is $49,670.03 ($25.87 per hour) - $60,441.15 ($31.48 per hour). Offers are made at the entry level of the range.
Assignment:
This position will work full-time, 240 days per year. The CQI Specialist in this role will work with pre-K ECEAP teachers. The position requires a criminal history check and fingerprint check through the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), a health exam and TB test, and proof of MMR immunity prior to starting.
