Continuing Education Instructor: Microsoft Excel

Continuing Education is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Microsoft Excel instructor to teach continuing education courses covering beginner through advanced levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Excel and experience teaching adults, with the ability to deliver practical, hands-on instruction to a diverse group of learners in an in-person format. Must also be comfortable teaching professionals in a variety of business settings. Classes may be offered during evenings or daytime hours.

Additional responsibilities include the ability to:

• Design and deliver curriculum covering Excel topics ranging from basic navigation and formulas to advanced functions such as PivotTables, macros, and data analysis tools.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet the needs of learners at different skill levels
• Work with businesses and organizations to customize Excel to align with their business goals
• Provide real-world examples and interactive exercises to enhance understanding
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback during class

The anticipated pay rate is $50 per contact hour or above.
