ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Clinical Specialist at Veris Health, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our innovative technologies with real-world cancer care delivery. Acting as a bridge between patients, providers, and our platform, you will ensure that our digital health solutions are seamlessly implemented, clinically impactful, and aligned with the highest standards of patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with hands-on engagement, enabling us to support oncology practices, train healthcare teams, and contribute to the advancement of personalized, technology-enabled cancer care.
We are seeking a Columbus Ohio based licensed health care professional who is passionate about patient care, technology, and improving healthcare delivery through innovative solutions, applying your skills to support patient onboarding, education, training, and programmatic development.
Veris Health, a subsidiary of PAVmed (NASDAQ: PAVM), is a digital health company dedicated to delivering enhanced, personalized cancer care. We leverage advanced technologies—including wearable and implantable physiologic sensors, patient and provider mobile applications, virtual care platforms, and a cloud-based physician interface—to transform how cancer care is delivered and to improve patient quality of life. In addition, we are building integrated call-center support systems and AI-driven clinical decision support tools to further empower patients and providers across the continuum of care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary clinical liaison between Veris Health, oncology practices, and patients, ensuring seamless integration of our technologies into cancer care delivery.
- Serve as a trusted nursing resource and advocate for patients and providers ensuring a compassionate, solutions-focused approach
- Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to physicians, nurses, and care teams on the use of Veris Health platforms, wearable and implantable sensors, and mobile applications.
- Educate patients and caregivers on technology use, helping to improve engagement, adherence, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to share clinical insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions.
- Participate in the development and refinement of clinical protocols, workflows, training materials and best practices that support the adoption of digital health in oncology.
- Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues in collaboration with the Veris support team to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Veris Health at key customer meetings, conferences, and training sessions as needed.
- Support inventory management of Veris devices.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure client needs are met.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed healthcare professional (RN, NP, PA, or BSN) with experience in oncology preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in oncology, infusion services, or related patient care environment.
- Demonstrated experience training or educating healthcare professionals and/or patients.
- Strong understanding of digital health tools, wearable devices, remote patient monitoring, or telehealth platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, innovative, and evolving startup environment.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable standing, moving throughout facilities, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including recommended booster doses.
- Willingness to travel to clinical sites, customer meetings, or conferences as required.
