About the Company:

We are a fast-growing medical device organization focused on innovative interventional cardiology technologies that improve patient outcomes and advance standards of care. Our products serve leading cardiac centres and catheterization laboratories throughout Germany.

Overview of the Role:

The Clinical Support Specialist provides high-impact clinical education and procedural support throughout the Northern German region, with travel expected up to ~80% of the time. You will play a key role in supporting physicians and clinical teams before, during, and after interventional cardiology procedures, enabling safe and effective use of our technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site procedural support and clinical guidance for interventional cardiology cases, including imaging interpretation, device preparation, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training for physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff on product use, indications, and best practices.
  • Partner closely with Territory Managers to support customer engagement and adoption goals.
  • Provide expert technical support during complex cases and offer insights to refine clinical approach.
  • Gather clinical feedback, identify unmet needs, and share insights with cross-functional teams to influence product development and educational strategies.
  • Represent the company at scientific meetings, workshops, and local training events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing, or related clinical/technical field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 3–5+ years experience in clinical support, medical devices, or acute hospital care, preferably with exposure to cardiology or interventional procedures.
  • Strong communication, instructional, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable in high-pressure procedural environments and able to deliver support with independence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (~80%) across Northern Germany (Highly structured hours - not required to do overnight stays etc)
