Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Manager will work closely with the Director, Clinical Performance Strategy & Support to manage vendor operations and strategic and high-visibility initiatives within the Clinical department.

Essential Functions
-Manage vendor relationships for the Clinical department by establishing clear ownership and decision-making frameworks (e.g., RACI charts) and by developing and implementing processes for monitoring Clinical vendor performance on a recurring basis.
-Work collaboratively with Clinical teams to ensure vendors meet operational needs; support process improvement activities involving vendors, as needed, and ensure vendors meet regulatory, contractual, and business needs, including supplying required data for reporting in a timely manner.
-Manage cross-team, high-profile clinical strategic initiatives by creating and managing tracking tools to assess progress and risks of clinical initiatives and ensure initiatives are completed on time and within scope and budget.
-Communicate progress, status, and risks of initiatives to Clinical leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, as needed/appropriate.
-Model and promote operational excellence within the department. Work with the Director to design and implement best practices and improvement activities within the department.


 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree


Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of Managed Care, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
  • Familiarity with HEDIS and Health Equity Accreditation experience is highly preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
