Position Title: Clinical Support Lead

Reports to: Clinical Support Supervisor

Job Classification: Full-time; Non-exempt

Salary Range: $21.88 - $27.31 per hour


Schedule: Wed. – Sat., 1:30pm – 12:00am; Sun. – Wed., 1:30pm – 12:00am and Cover Clinical Support Supervisor Shifts 5:30am – 4:00pm, as needed.

The Opportunity: 

The Clinical Support Lead position will play a critical role in relational engagement and care of program participants at The Crossing. This position will be responsible for leadership, addressing participant concerns, and supporting the Clinical Support Supervisor and/or Clinical Director, as needed.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


SERVICE COORDINATION:

  • Coordinate with counseling and assist in meeting participant needs per Denver Rescue Mission (DRM) policies.
  • Manage staff and support services, focusing on safety, security, community involvement, and inventory.
  • Engage with residents promoting a supportive environment and oversee clinical tasks.
  • Act as primary responder to emergencies and document all interactions.

STAFF OVERSIGHT:

  • Assist in supervising shift staff and ensure adherence to DRM policies.
  • Supervise clinical support specialists, provide guidance, and conduct training.
  • Maintain compliance with policies and ensure effective task delegation.

SECURITY and SAFETY:

  • Ensure participant safety, administer first aid as needed, and handle emergency situations.
  • Keep the campus free of weapons and substance use.
  • Notify relevant personnel in emergencies and complete shift reports.

SUPPORT OF OTHER DEPARTMENTS:

  • Collaborate with the Homeless Resolution Team and support DRM departments.
  • Facilitate partnerships with approved outside agencies.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT:

  • Monitor cleanliness and submit referrals for resolution.
  • Manage inventory and maintenance, ensuring adherence to schedules.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand facility and program policies, maintain presence during shifts, and assist in employee training.
  • Assume supervisory roles when needed and communicate issues to leadership.
Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to refer to clinical and chaplain services.
  • Ability to maintain boundaries, resolve conflicts, and work with diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Office 365 software applications and ability to learn the SCRIBE guest record management system.
  • On-call availability for shift coverage.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • Active Driver’s License and ability to pass motor vehicle record check to travel to other work sites.
  • Affirm the Faith Statement and Apostles Creed and comply with the Employee Handbook.
