Clinical Support - Interventional Physiatry Clinic
DMOS Orthopaedic CentersAre you seeking a 4-day (8-hr/day) work week? We are seeking an individual to join our team in our Interventional Physiatry Clinic to support clinic flow for 2 midlevel providers. You'll be our patients kind guide during their appointment by rooming patients and gathering pertinent medical information. A medical certification (CMA/ATC) or license (LPN) is highly preferred, yet not required if you have the desire to obtain experience in a medical office setting.
This position is a 32-hour work week located at our West Des Moines office on the second floor. You will work alongside a team that includes 2 midlevel providers and a Radiology Tech.
Here’s What You Can Expect
- You’ll be on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for their appointment in the Interventional Physiatry Clinic. You are the patient's kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment.
- Rooming and gathering pertinent information from patients to prepare the provider. This is a private practice where you’ll have access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification.
- A small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our staff to provide patient care we are proud of.
What We’re Looking For
- An active LPN, CMA or ATC in the state of Iowa, preferred although not required.
- You know how to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous. You know how important it is to listen, ask questions, and avoid interrupting your patient.
- Independent worker. You know how to keep yourself focused and when to ask for help.
