  • Facilitate on-site coaching, mentoring, and training for clinical staff to build capability and confidence. This role will include travel across Queensland and to Melbourne.
  • Support the delivery of individualised, evidence-based nursing care that achieves positive outcomes for residents and clients.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to embed best practice policies, procedures, and onboarding processes for new clinical staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in line with organisational and legislative requirements.

About you:

You are an experienced Registered Nurse and clinical leader with a passion for aged care and a drive to improve quality outcomes. You thrive on building relationships, mentoring others, and turning strategic goals into practical results.

Essential:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a senior clinical care role within aged care.
  • Demonstrated understanding of aged care accreditation standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and flexibility to travel within Queensland and Melbourne.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong English comprehension.
  • Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Australian work rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Gerontology, Dementia, or an Aged Care-related specialty.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience delivering clinical education and implementing new programs or initiatives.
  • CPR, Infection Prevention and Control, and relevant vaccinations (or ability to obtain).
