Clinical Support Specialist – Vascular & CVD (Nordics)

Purpose of the Role

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will deliver exceptional clinical support and service across the Nordics, helping to strengthen Abbott’s position in vascular and cardiovascular disease (CVD) and support future product launches. You’ll work closely with Sales Representatives and Territory Managers to drive clinical excellence, revenue growth, and account penetration in interventional cardiology.

This is a field-based role focused on customer engagement, case coverage, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical support during procedures in Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology, and OR settings.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of Abbott Vascular products through presentations, demos, and in-service training.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians and hospital staff, identifying clinical needs and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and execute account strategies and call plans.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot product-related issues.
  • Support case coverage across the broader region as needed.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a clinical or technical support role.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable working in lab/OR environments and traveling up to 50%.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant technical certification is a plus.
