MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Service Line Manager role is responsible for leading the coordination of patient care/information flow in a comprehensive manner along the patient's journey of care. This position is responsible for optimizing the efficiency of services for their assigned line within the surgical services platform by successfully executing interdepartmental and ancillary activities. Those activities include, but are not limited to, acting as a lead resource for the patient care team, preparation and maintenance of service line resources, daily monitoring of service line workflows, and mitigation of service line workflow barriers as the need arises and on a strategic trajectory.
