Located in the heart of the thriving Fishers community, IU Health Saxony is home to six state-of-the-art operating rooms supporting a wide range of specialties—including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Robotics, Plastics, and Urology. We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative leader to help manage the day-to-day operations of our 6-bed Operating Room, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30p. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll lead a team of approximately 35-40 Direct Reports as well as work closely with the Director of Surgical Services and build strong relationships across multiple disciplines and leadership levels.

The clinical manager of operations combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an interprofessional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards. Provides oversight of unit that is operational and staffed 24 x 7, weekends, and holidays.
