Schedule: Monday  - Friday 8am - 5pm 

Shift\: Days

Location\: 8000 Red Bug Lake Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765.  Travel to other locations for leadership meetings monthly

  • When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew.  We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.  

  • As a Orthopedic Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Operations Manager will maintain a therapeutic and business management philosophy including program development, labor analysis, standards of practice, staffing needs, process improvement and revenue management. Oversight of patient care assignment, scheduling and daily operations for successful performance in Team, Service, Clinical, Market and Finance pillars. As a licensed clinician, may provide direct and indirect patient care to an assigned group of patients in rehabilitation settings as needed. They will serve as subject matter expert in quality and process improvement initiatives as well as general center operations. The Manager will set direction for the team and encourage them to use innovative approaches to ensure an excellent consumer experience is provided in an efficient manner while maximizing resources. This position is responsible for building trusting relationships and partnering with physicians and other stakeholders to encourage referral growth. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with associates, providers and leaders. Operations Manager provides direct supervision of multidisciplinary licensed clinicians, technicians, clerical staff, interns and volunteers.

  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and standards of accrediting bodies and payers.

 

 

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • 3+ Work Experience Required

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

  • Occupational Therapist (OT) Required or

  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Required or

  • Physical Therapist (PT) Required

Preferred 

* Strong orthopedic background and prior leadership experience
