About The Role
100% Remote with occasional travel to Fresh Clinics locations as needed. (Ideally based in Mountain, Pacific, or Central time zones to support better collaboration with our Australian teams)
The Clinical Operations Manager blends clinical expertise with operational execution. You’ll build the key processes and infrastructure required to manage our network of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Medical Directors (MDs), and support Fresh in introducing new treatment types and technologies to our MedSpa network.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Lead Medical Director to ensure all Good Faith Exams (GFEs) and patient consultations meet the highest standards of care and compliance. What You’ll Do
Clinical strategy & operations
- Scan the market and collaborate with Members and the Medical Director to prioritise new treatments and technologies.
- Support implementation of these services (e.g., source suppliers, develop protocols, coordinate training).
Collaboration with Leadership & Medical Directors
- Design and execute the strategy for expanding our NP and MD network.
- Refine and implement clinical protocols and training programs.
- Act as the link between NPs and MDs, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Assist with onboarding and training NPs to Fresh’s high clinical standards.
Clinical leadership & oversight
- Oversee GFEs to ensure they meet clinical best practice.
- Partner with our Lead Medical Director to guide, mentor, and ensure NP compliance with scope-of-practice regulations.
- Build systems to triage complications between NPs and MDs.
Regulatory compliance & process improvement
- Ensure all NPs meet state-specific licensure and practice requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements to clinical processes and service delivery.
- Stay across industry trends and innovations in aesthetic medicine.
W
e’d love you to have:
- 10+ years of clinical experience, ideally including time in a Clinical Lead or similar senior role. Experience in aesthetic medicine, medspas, telemedicine, or outpatient care is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks across multiple US states, with the ability to turn complex legislation into clear, practical processes.
- A natural collaborator who builds trust with remote teams- from Nurses and Medical Directors to internal ops, product, and customer teams. You engage clinical teams with empathy and clarity.
- Operationally minded, with experience rolling out onboarding programs, protocols, and clinical systems that improve efficiency and safety at scale.
- Calm in complexity and ambiguity- you’re comfortable navigating varying state regulations, shifting priorities, and the pace of a fast-growing startup.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership- you don't just raise issues, you find and implement solutions.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal- you’re confident creating SOPs, onboarding guides, and clinical documentation others can easily follow.
