About the role
The Queensland Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (QDEC) has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Clinical Nurses/ Diabetes Educator to join the Diabetes & Endocrine team in a permanent part time 32 hours per week capacity.
QDEC provides comprehensive Ambulatory and inpatient care for young adults and adults with diabetes and endocrine conditions and is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of Endocrinologists, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Psychologist and Podiatrists.
QDEC specialises in supporting patients with intensive self-management strategies and is recognised as one of the National Lead Centres for the Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating Program (DAFNE). QDEC also holds accreditation with the National Association of Diabetes Centres (NADC) and has an NADC accredited High Risk Foot Service.
Salary range: $54.45 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
