Base salary will range from $117,120 - $138,769 (Academic Level B) + 17% Superannuation + an additional regional location Market Loading + up to $5000 Relocation support

This is a unique opportunity for a Clinical Educator in Nursing and/or Midwifery, to join us at Southern Queensland Rural Health (SQRH) in Charleville to make a real and positive difference to the education of our students as future health professionals, and to support the future of regional healthcare in Queensland.
As a Clinical Educator, you will support effective, high quality rural training experiences for pre-registration nursing and midwifery students across rural and remote South West Queensland. This involves supporting the supervision of students during rural clinical placements, facilitating interprofessional learning opportunities during student placements, and enhancing support and education to both students and clinical supervisors.
As part of this role, you will be seconded to Charleville, Western Areas Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander Community Health Limited (CWAATSICH), for 0.5 FTE of the role. Working with CWAATSICH, you will provide mentoring, training and support to ensure high quality clinical care to CWAATSICH clients and provide clinical leadership and training experiences to CWAATSICH Health Workers.

To support with your relocation to Charleville, we are offering up to $5000 relocation support covering airfares, car hire and removalist costs for which you can claim back reimbursement. We will also supplement your salary with an annual regional location market loading amount in addition to the base salary, increasing your total remuneration package. Please note, the contract end date is based on current funding arrangements. Usual discussions will occur prior to this date as to the continuation of this funding and this position.
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks including verification of your right to work in Australia, your qualifications and AHPRA Registration, and completion of mandatory immunisations. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
