Your Opportunity
As our Clinical Educator – Seniors Communities, you will develop, deliver, and evaluate clinical training and education programs to build the knowledge, skills, and capability of nursing and care staff across our villages. You’ll champion best practice, foster a culture of continuous learning, and ensure education aligns with regulatory requirements and Anglicare’s Christian vision, mission, and values.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
Design and facilitate engaging clinical training programs focused on practical skills, evidence-based practice, and aged care standards.
Support induction and onboarding of new clinical staff, ensuring comprehensive orientation to clinical policies and procedures.
Assist in competency-based training and assessment, maintaining required clinical competencies.
Collaborate with trainers and stakeholders to coordinate education across sites and regions.
Ensure education activities support compliance with aged care legislation and accreditation requirements.
Evaluate and improve education programs using feedback and audit results.
Build positive relationships with staff and managers to identify learning needs and support professional development.
Promote a culture of safety and best practice in all education activities.
Serve as a role model, providing professional, values-aligned leadership and supporting staff development.
What You’ll Bring
You are a strategic, collaborative educator who inspires excellence and drives change. You bring:
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (Registered Nurse).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
At least 5 years of recent clinical experience in aged care or a related health setting.
Experience in delivering clinical education or training to adult learners.
Sound knowledge of aged care standards, clinical best practice, and accreditation requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
Experience using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in training and workforce capability.
