The Clinical Education Trainer will play a key role in supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of clinical education and training across the Trust. Working under the supervision of the senior clinical practice educator, the post holder will contribute to ensuring that all staff receive high-quality learning opportunities to support safe, effective, and evidence-based clinical practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education and professional development. The post holder will work collaboratively with clinical teams, practice educators, and external education providers to support the induction, competency assessment, and ongoing training of the clinical workforce.

The role will involve facilitating learning in both classroom and clinical settings, supporting the development of clinical competencies, and promoting best practice aligned with Trust policies, national standards, and professional frameworks. The Clinical Education Trainer will act as a role model for clinical excellence and lifelong learning, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all staff.

Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment of clinical skills to support the development of staff across a range of clinical settings.

Facilitate and support education and development programmes for all levels of staff, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives and professional standards.

Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of mandatory training sessions, ensuring compliance with Trust and national requirements.

Support the coordination and delivery of national education programmes such as the Care Certificate and other workforce development initiatives.

Work collaboratively with Practice Educators, Clinical Teams and Managers to identify learning needs and implement targeted training interventions.

Maintain accurate training records and provide regular reports on staff compliance, progress and outcomes.

Promote a positive learning culture within the organisation, encouraging staff to engage in continuous professional development.

Ensure all teaching and assessment activities are conducted in line with current clinical standards, evidence-based practice and Trust policies.

Participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement of education programmes, adapting content to meet service and learner needs.

Act as a role model for professional behaviour, clinical competence and lifelong learning.
