A Day in the Life

We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

The Neuromodulation Operating Unit offers solutions — from early interventional procedures to implantable surgical technologies — that treat chronic pain as well as pain from spinal fractures, cancer, and severe spasticity.​ 

Our key Interventional Pain therapies include: Balloon Kyphoplasty, Vertebroplasty, and Radiofrequency Ablation

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transformation Lead to serve as the commercial lead for inorganic growth opportunities—shaping strategy, diligence, and integration planning in partnership with the broader commercial team. This role will work directly with external third parties to conduct market analysis and customer segmentation, translating insights into actionable commercial recommendations. In addition, the role will influence how we maximize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities (including Salesforce) to improve sales force effectiveness, prioritization, and execution. This position will act as the commercial liaison to the VP of Integration for Neuromodulation and will inform strategic realignment of our commercial team.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: 

  • Stakeholder Management and Engagement: build strong relationships with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, buy-in, and support for transformation initiatives. Key partners will include Marketing, Communications and Finance

  • Performance Monitoring: establish metrics and KPI’s to track the progress and success of transformation projects and outline demand from Marketing. Manage tooling and reporting mechanisms that drive action

  • Risk Management: identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects

  • Project Management: drive overall cross functional project management transformation initiatives, including managing project plans, deliverables, owners and due dates

  • Salesforce CRM (SFDC) Next Waves: Serve as a key stakeholder in strategic planning and executing the next waves of SFDC implementation and optimization, ensuring technology supports evolving sales strategies and business needs

  • Organizational Design, SIP, Change Management: Collaborate on organizational design including sales resource allocation, Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), and communications and change management to support business objectives and operational efficiency

Qualifications 
Must Have: Minimum Requirements 
To be considered for this role, please ensure these minimum requirements are evident on your resume. 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or related commercial leadership roles within medical devices, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry

  • Demonstrated experience as a key stakeholder in the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce CRM or similar platforms

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving process transformation in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree

  • Experience with neuromodulation product lines or another relevant med tech field

  • Expertise in transformation principles and/or experience with agile/lean processes

  • Background in customer service operations, customer experience management, and AI-driven transformation

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$172,000.00 - $258,000.00

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
