This role sits at the center of enterprise Operational Excellence, driving large-scale business transformation and continuous improvement across a global organization. You will lead the deployment of structured performance systems, ensuring consistent ways of working, capability building, and sustainable process excellence. Acting as both a strategic advisor and hands-on consultant, you will guide cross-functional teams through complex improvement initiatives. The position combines training, governance, and enterprise change leadership to embed a culture of continuous improvement. You will design and deliver scalable learning ecosystems, communication strategies, and operational frameworks that improve quality, efficiency, and cost outcomes. With significant exposure to senior stakeholders, this remote role also requires extensive travel to support collaboration and execution across business units.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and governance of enterprise-wide Operational Excellence frameworks and performance systems, ensuring alignment with strategic transformation goals and sustainable adoption across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and related methodologies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality and operational performance.
- Develop and manage training programs, learning ecosystems, and capability-building initiatives, delivering both in-person and virtual workshops to strengthen organizational competencies.
- Establish communication and change management strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of operational excellence standards and practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage governance, content delivery, and system improvements, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance across initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and expert guidance to teams and leaders, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience (10+ years) in business process improvement or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong expertise in Operational Excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), Agile, Design Thinking, or RedX.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level transformation, process improvement programs, and cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
- Strong ability to design and deliver training programs, facilitate workshops, and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business improvements and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with experience leading without direct authority.
- Experience with digital tools, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled solutions to support scalable process improvement and knowledge delivery.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% depending on business needs.
