The Impact you will have in this role:  

Within the Technology Governance Office, our role is to serve as dependable business strategy consultants across all of IT, providing guidance and support for all technology related business decision making, ensuring technology initiatives are well funded and generate the right value for the firm, address business challenges, and promote sustainable growth. 

 

IT Vendor Governance 

  • Manage a robust vendor deal review process to gain the most business value from our vendor partners; manage vendor performance, ensure purchase policy compliance, improve governance, and establish IT vendor escalation processes. 

IT Investment Governance 

  • Partner with Technology Service Owners to ensure their technology strategy aligns with evolving business needs; transform SBA Governance from only financial oversight to a model that clearly links completed work with associated costs. 

Workforce Governance 

  • Provide a data-driven approach to encourage proactive ownership and accountability, helping the organization adapt to future needs. 

FinOps 

  • Provide financial analysis and transparency reporting around Cloud financial mgmt. & implementing cost-optimization strategies. 

Lifecycle Management 

  • Drive effective lifecycle changes across the organization with minimal disruptions to our clients through a data-driven approach, cross-team visibility, with clear ownership and accountability. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Support IT Investment Governance with a focus on SBA (Support Business Applications) governance across IT. 
  • Increase visibility into SBA by aligning application costs to supported services to enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) transparency. 
  • Perform ongoing monthly and quarterly financial and portfolio analysis. 
  • Support annual planning and long-range forecasting processes. 
  • Play a key role in the migration from PPM to Planview. 
  • Analyze interdependencies across IT projects, including financial benefits, resource constraints, risk mitigation, client satisfaction, and strategic alignment. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support management prioritization decisions. 
  • Partner closely with IT senior leadership and Finance management to drive informed decision-making. 

  

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. 

Talents Needed for Success: 

  • Create effective working relationships with senior business, technology, and control group leadership. 
  • Effective collaboration, expectations management and partnership with multiple internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Participate as a technology leader in helping to move the entire organization towards our objectives. 
  • Translating multiple data elements (both financial and IT-orientated) into a tangible product which can drive insights and decision making. 
  • Ability to influence, both directly and indirectly, peers and leaders across the organization on the IT Investment Management strategy. 
  • Experience with IT portfolio governance, IT allocations, and business chargeback 
  • Understanding of the role of IT Project Management within a large IT organization 
  • Knowledge of IT Financial Management, specifically related to project financials. 
  • Ability to easily navigate large data sets and be able to identify trends and opportunity areas quickly and efficiently. 

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
