AmeriCorps Health Educator (Hybrid)

Apply to be an AmeriCorps Health Educator with Erie Family Health Centers!

In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact by empowering community members to take charge of their health, advocate for themselves in the healthcare system, and build lifelong healthy habits. You’ll serve as a trusted guide, helping people learn about the healthcare services available to them at Erie and making it easier for them to access the care and support they need to thrive.

This role also includes:

• A one-year service-learning opportunity with a stipend and benefits.
• Motivated by the belief that healthcare is a human right, Erie provides high quality affordable care to support healthier people, families, and communities.
• An opportunity to integrate into one of the supportive service teams or in one of our health centers.
• Member would conduct outreach, provide health education, complete screenings, and link patients with needed programs and services inside and outside of Erie.  
• Great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in healthcare and give back to their community.
• A living allowance up to $30,000.
