About the Role
As the Advanced Clinical Educator – Ultrasound, you will lead the delivery of a comprehensive ultrasound training program at your base site, while also supporting and collaborating across other SAMI locations.
This pivotal role requires significant professional judgement, applying up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge in a specialised and complex environment. You will play a key role in shaping education and training for the sonographer workforce, ensuring quality, consistency, and the integration of innovative technologies and processes.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across SAMI, you will oversee education and development activities that support the training of new and returning sonographers, ongoing professional development, and ultrasound scanning training for Radiology Registrars and other medical officers. You will also liaise with education providers to enhance training outcomes and contribute to research and innovation within ultrasound practice.
