Summary: The RN - Advanced Clinical Educator has demonstrated a commitment to higher Education and is responsible for developing staff throughout Baptist Health by providing expertise as an Educator, Consultant, Facilitator, Change Agent, Leader, and Researcher. The Educator shall be responsible to support the development of new and current staff, foster empowerment and the development of knowledge through the use of evidence-based practice, relationship based care, SMART principles, and principles of adult learning. This individual will utilize the Benner Model to move staff through the contimum from novice to expert. This will occur by facilitating the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency, continuing education and leadership development. In addition, the Educator will serve as a role model of professional behavior. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: MSN required with demonstrated evidence of experience in teaching/education of at least 2 years in the clinical or academic setting; minimum 5 years clinical experience required in the area of served (Critical Care, Med/Surg, Women's Services, Peds or ED) License / Certification: Active RN license required, BLS required, additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, service line specific, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Primary Location:
