Overview:
Greater Flint Health Coalition (GFHC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Flint, MI to work in a fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to use your workforce development and healthcare sector knowledge to improve employment outcomes for unemployed, underemployed, and dislocated workers seeking to enter the state’s largest employment sector – health care.
The Administrative Assistant will be a temporary, contracted, part-time member of the GFHC’s Flint Healthcare Employment Opportunities (FHEO) Program team. The FHEO Program assists Flint & Genesee County residents with obtaining career training and education services that lead to employment for high-growth, high-demand healthcare jobs as specified by local healthcare employers. The program area engages with local residents from one or more of three populations served — adults, dislocated workers, and out-of-school youth (primarily between the ages of 18-24) who are interested in and/or are pursuing healthcare careers.
The FHEO Administrative Assistant provides administrative support including appointment scheduling, project management support, and preparation and maintenance of correspondence, records, and other documents (including a detailed, central office filing system).

Job Status:
Part Time, Hourly; Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with meetings and events earlier, later, or on weekends as required by the responsibilities of the position. This is a contracted, temporary position with funding available through August 2025.
